I've always loved the way small town antique shops felt, old and homey with lots of neat nick nacks and precious finds, and I wanted to find a way to bring a little bit of that feeling to my friends whose busy lifestyle just didn't allow for the time away for such things. I considered making a basic catalog, more like a magazine, but items come through so quickly that it was impossible. Then I met Joan who was very internet savvy and she suggested that I make my own site and agreed to help with all the computer aspects and we formed our partnership. This company has expanded so much that we now employ people from all over the world instead of just New England and France when I could get away. Now Joan gets to work at home on her computer when she feels like working and I get to follow my passion looking for new "finds" for the site.
